This 1/87 scale Water Tower is one of the iconic scenes in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, complete with SAVE FERRIS.

The model is built straight out of the box, with the Save Ferris text coming from microscale alphabet decals, and a blinking light LED circuit being buried in the support column of the tower. I added a lightning rod to the top of the LED.

The model is spray painted flat white.

This was the first idea for a model that I had when the contest was announced. And there is a sci-fi moment in the movie, as the Ferrari is catching air on it's high speed run back to Chicago the Star Wars Theme is playing in the background, ala Blockade Runner opening shot in SW:ANH.
