SPACE IN MINIATURE

This ship is based on the Guillow’s "Rocket Ranger" balsa kit from the 1940’s. My main reference was a distorted image of the kit plans from an eBay listing. This version is a little pudgier than the plans called for, but turned out to have sort of a Minbari look to it. The hull is a plastic maracca from the thrift store with Evergreen styrene fins. The engine includes part of the maraca handle, some PVC pipe, and styrene tubing. The stand came from the Glencoe Retriever Rocket kit. Windows are the old Elmer’s glue trick, and paint is just rattle can silver and Krylon clear.
