I intended this to be modeled after an illegal street racer that was all engine and nothing else. Pitch races through the violent asteroid belts are the type of races this vehicle was designed for. Speed and manuverability outweigh the need for safety and defense. It's painted black to help it blend in with the blackness of space thus making it a harder target to spot when the "fuzz" is about.

The cockpit is made from a bubblegum machine bubble and a plastic martini glass party favor. The neck is made from the engine of a SRS black bird and two halves from a 1/72 X-wing engine. The engine housing is the center portion of deepspace 9 and the engine bells are Whitmans cake decorating tips. There are directional engines mounted around the base of the neck which were taken from a moon landing module.

The paint was Apple Barrel metallic black sequence, and metallic emerald green. The cockpit glass is painted with Taniya clear green, then frosted with Future floor wax. The cockpit was detailed with the central tub from Anakins Pod racer and several greeblies, all painted with silver enamel to help it show up thru the "glass", but the effect was a bit too muted for my taste.
