I built this originally as a deep space tanker to go with the freighter I built out of two stands from my 1/350 carrier models. As you can see this started life as a Revell 1/350 Typhoon class SSBN. I added parts from a Dragon 1/350 Los Angeles class SSN, Iowa class BB, the Deep Sea Truck from Seaquest, and miscellaneous parts from the parts bins. During the early stages of fitting I changed the function of the ship from commercial transport to military battleship from an anime universe. The majority of the aerials are just styrene rods of different diameters and lengths. The weapons and the launch bays on the sides are leftovers from Battle Fleet Gothic ships. I really enjoy the freedom that building sci-fi offers, having a good selection of spare parts is of course an esential requirement for an creative building.
