by Jason Gould Scale: 15mm (~1/100)Year of time divergence: 1920's What you see here is a fine example of German engineering, the PzKpf IV Ausf X Sturmloki. Armed with four 20mm cannons and 120 rounds for each, it more than fulfills its intended role as a mobile anti-aircraft platform for local defense. This particular example is a new variant undergoing testing. Instead of anti-aircraft shells, it uses direct fire armor-piercing shells. This has proven especially devestating to enemy tanks and walkers, and some very, very unfortunate infantry. |

The Model This model was produced by Dream Pod 9, as was the anti-aircraft guns mod. The casting was really nice and had very little flash. The decals included were also nice. I painted the model entirely by hand with, as you see in the photos for size reference, Testors' Model Master Acrylics. The camouflage I applied was one I remember seing in renderings of German experimental and late war vehicles. Image: Left side Image: Top view Image: Not where you want to be .... |
