by Jim Silvers Scale: 1/35In the fifth year of WWII, Germany launched several V3 rockets. Four of these landed in the Arctic ice, boiling millions of gallons of water. This caused severe flooding of low level landmasses. The tanks would get bogged down in the silt that washed off the mountains. Entamoligists found a solution to the problem: put legs on the vehicles. This is the result! The Ant is a Sherman tank with six legs to walk with. Three legs stay on the ground at all times. The new power source is Twin Magnetic Turbines. They are a lot quieter and a lot more efficient than gas piston engines. The tank can cross rougher terrain and water better than those with conventional tracks. It can crawl two inches off the ground or walk twenty feet above the ground. With the invention of the resistor and the transistor, electronics have shrunk, so the Ant has a small brain for motor function. Steering is still manual. Parts Used:
