Carbonite Blaster |

by Dale Kelly Scale: 1:1To combat the effectiveness of the battle armor wore by Imperial Storm Troopers the Rebel Alliance thought a projectile weapon may be effective. They developed the Carbonite/Blaster Weapon System. The weapon used compressed powdered carbonite in a magazine in the pistol grip. The weapon drew small amounts of the carbonite into the firing chamber that was fused into solid form when fired. This system allowed for projectiles of various shapes and velocities to be fired. All adjustable by the operator. The small unit on the right side is a stanadard pistol blaster. |

The Model The weapon is based on a Robo Cop squirt gun with parts from toys, flash lights and telephones mounted. The grips are stained bass wood. I weighted the gun with plaster and a large spike nail to give it a realistic feel. You can see down the scope. It functions like a cheap aim-point sight.
